After 19 wonderful years as the owner of Lil’ Baby Cakes, the time has come for me to begin a new chapter — retirement!
When I look back over the years, I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported our small business.
Whether you ordered a baby gift for a family member, friend, coworker, employee, or client, it has been a privilege to help you celebrate so many new arrivals and special moments.
Small businesses like ours simply don't exist without loyal customers, and I want you to know how much your support has meant to me and to Lil’ Baby Cakes.
Every order, recommendation, repeat purchase, and kind word helped make these 19 years possible.
In 19 years, I have seen:
- Ecommerce industry changes (google, shift to Amazon shopping, Etsy, etc...)
- Multiple shades of blues and pink ribbons – who knew there were so many!
- Popular plush animal trends
- The design of the Pampers box change multiple times
- Our children graduate from high school, college and some are now married
For the next chapter, I look forward to spending time with family and friends and simply enjoying what comes next.
My husband Alan retired 4 years ago, and now it is time for our next adventure. We won't be wasting much time as we are going to Europe to start this new chapter.
While it is bittersweet to say goodbye to a business that has been such an important part of my life for nearly two decades, I leave with an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the people I've had the opportunity to serve along the way and the support of my family and friends.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting Lil’ Baby Cakes and our small family business all these years. It has truly been a pleasure being a small part of so many happy occasions.
