These are great ideas! I especially like the “Gift Card for Take Out”. Every new mom will love that shower gift. I recently found a new baby book called Dear Baby, What I love about you! by Carol Casey. It’s a warm and nurturing story that tells babies why they are so lovable. In the back of the book you can sign it so the child can see all the people who love. I’m giving this book and a gift card for take out as my next shower gift.

I purchased the green/pink elephant diaper cake to bring as a gift to the hospital instead of flowers. It was perfect. The colors matched great with the theme of the nursery and it was very well put together. Diapers will always be a necessity for a newborn. I would definately shop from Lil baby cakes again.

I used the blue striped duck 3 tier diaper cake as a center piece for a baby shower, with similar ducks as favors on the table and it was a great hit.
I was impressed with the quality of the cake and would order it again.

It is very cute. Although you stated it is gender neutral, I think I would lean towards that style for a girl rather than a boy.

Candy - Great Job creating the diaper cake of the month - Beautiful Fall colors and you captured the essence of the season - The diaper cake I ordered was a big hit - I love that it can be taken apart and used, however my daughter couldnt bare to take it apart and has it proudly displayed in the babies room - Great Work! Love your creations!

Hi Candy,
Your theme is cute, especially for a boys shower and the daddy is into hunting ( my son-in-law would love it). I also agree about the pine cones, I would accent it with the leaves and in the center put pacifers,or something else that would be useful for new mom. My daughter still has the diaper cake in my granddaugther room. She wanted to keep it as a memory!

I love it! But, I agree with Melanie - the pinecones at the top don’t thrill me and if you could change that to something usable, that would make it even better. Maybe just another animal.

Love the idea. Doing a Diaper Cake of the Month works well for those individuals that still decide to wait to find out the sex of the baby. I could do with out the pine cones on top. I finally know what I can send to some friends who are waiting to find out what their having.

These Diaper Cakes are a real hit in my circle of friends. The new concept of Diaper Cake of the Month is a GREAT idea. So many people have theme showers but what about those second time moms or just sending diapers to a Mom and Dad who need them is such a cool idea. I have an idea… How about offering different size diapers for say like first birthdays or just for an anytime thing? Best of Luck,

It’s very cute! I love the stuffed animals, the colors and the Burt’s Bees! My only issue is with the pine cones on top - they’re cute and add to the theme but they’re unuseable. I’d love to see a decoration on top that the parent’s can use that still works with the theme. But other than that, I think it’s adorable! Great for a fall shower!
